As traditional-styled high end European ranges become more popular in America, a problem facing kitchen designers is that its nearly impossible to find a hood that matches these ranges; whether in style, color, or decor. As specialists in custom metal work, we took on this challenge for a client looking for a range hood for her La Cornue CornuFé range.

We built a hood off our standard Botticelli frame shape, matched the ivory color of the range, and added custom vertical bands over the trim on the range, and finished it with a matte silver finish to complement the brushed stainless trim on the range.

Another custom CornuFé match:

This 42″ wide range hood frame was minimally hand-finished on the trim. With a deep-relief lip treatment, this hood would measure slightly over 43″ wide and balance perfectly over the LaCornue range in ivory with brass trim it was designed for.
