At K/BIS 2008, Metallo Arts successfully unveiled our Kitchens by Metallo line of appliances and cabinets. We now bring our signature artistic flair and dedication to a customizable design to all the elements in a well-planned kitchen, with all the customization options we offer in our Range Hood Builder!

Introducing metal countertops, from traditional French-style pewter (with our own decorative twists) to bronze and copper. Our counters are available in standard 1½” and 2″ depths, with dozens of edge profiles ranging from simple bullnose mitering to stamped ornamental banding. To get a sense of the possibilities, check out our countertop planner. Similar to our rangehood builder, all of our standard options are presented in a easy-to-browse format.

We’ve also begun designing and building metal cabinets. What began as a special request from a client who wanted to carry the design of her custom range hood throughout the kitchen has become a viable option that we plan to standardize in the same way we have already done with ventilation hoods and countertops.

Our custom cabinetry is simple and elegant, yet carries the same decorative ornamentation as our hoods. And just like our hoods, the inner workings are made of the best stuff we can find, so expect a whisper-soft drawer opening and closing experience that will last a lifetime. While we don’t expect anyone to use these for an entire kitchen, we think our cabinets are a great choice for a stand-out island.

The final stage in our Kitchens By Metallo line, which we plan to roll out near the end of 2008, is our line of appliances. Working with top-of-the-line manufacturers from throughout the appliance industry, we will also offer a full customization experience of all major appliances, from dishwashers to refrigerators to ranges, and much more!
