Pollock Range Hood

We continue our mission of bringing fine arts to functional kitchen design with this range hood done in the style of Jackson Pollock. This was commissioned by a museum curator who wanted to bring elements of art into his home, located in the heart of Manhattan.

Pollock Range Hood

We built the hood on our standard Botticelli frame and Chris, inspired by Pollock’s paintings Number 9 and Number 41, used specially thickened latex paints, automotive paints, and metal mica to achieve chaotic textures like those of the master.
